About Merchant
I have been tutoring Chemistry, Physics and all mathematics from Algebra through Calculus. I have taught over 600 students both civilian and military for 30 years. Furthermore I have been offering formal education to Navy technical specialists as part of their formal training.

I have two master degrees; one in Physics, with an emphasis on electro-optics and one in System Management, with as emphasis on systems technology and logistics support.
My teaching methodology can be describle as classical specifically:
1) Develop specific targeted lessons in simple terms.
2) I find that if I integrate my lessons with snippets of historical perspective it is easier to present the information
3) I will teach a specific lesson; show how to address the problem then supervise the student as he/she addresses the problem, analyze the results
