About Liz
I aim to make lessons as engaging and enjoyable as possible by trying to explain the complex ideas using everyday examples. I feel this increases knowledge of life around us and gives encouragement to engage in deeper thought processes around scientific ideas.
On a more personal note, in my spare time I enjoy chasing my toddler around, reading crime novels, baking and crocheting!

• I use a personalised approach to learning focusing on exam techniques and common misconceptions to boost confidence in your knowledge of science
• Typical lesson length is 1 hour
• I have 5 years experience in the analytical chemistry industry, and over 8 years experience teaching and tutoring students in various Secondary schools.
• Lessons are suitable for students aged 10-16 years old and I have also tutored adult learners who are re-sitting GCSEs, lessons are adapted to suit the pace of the learner!
