About Freeman Ulrich

Hello!

I'm Freeman, a passionate educator, engineer, and entrepreneur currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science. I hold two Master’s degrees from the University of South Florida—one in Computer Science and another in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technologies, graduating with a 3.96 GPA.

I've also earned a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering Technology (Summa Cum Laude) with a minor in Computer Science from Kennesaw State. I’ve worked as an Embedded Firmware Engineer and PLC Developer in industry, and I currently assist students as a Teaching Assistant in advanced CS topics.

My areas of expertise include programming (Python, C, C++, Java), AI & deep learning, embedded systems, PLC design, digital logic design, system-verilog, and business strategy.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect real-world applications with academic concepts. Whether you’re learning to code, preparing for exams, or building a product idea, I’ll break down complex topics and tailor my approach to your unique goals. I tutor in both English and French, and I bring empathy, structure, and enthusiasm to every session.

Let’s unlock your full potential together!

I’ve been through the grind of tough classes, late-night coding, and real-world problem solving, so I get how frustrating (and rewarding) learning can be. I’m here to help you actually understand the material — not just memorize it.

My Teaching Style I keep things simple, practical, and relatable. Whether we’re tackling Python code, building out control systems, or unpacking machine learning concepts, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you step by step. I don’t throw jargon around unless we’re breaking it down together. I like to ask questions to spark your thinking, use real-life examples whenever possible, and bring a bit of humor and energy into our sessions. Learning shouldn’t feel like a chore.

What a Session Looks Like Start:
Quick check-in or recap — What’s working? What’s confusing? Main Focus: We’ll dive into the core topic, break it down, and walk through examples. Practice Time: You’ll get hands-on, whether it’s solving problems, debugging code, or brainstorming ideas.

Wrap-Up: Final questions, key takeaways, and maybe a suggestion or two to work on before next time. Every session is customized to your pace and goals. We’ll go fast when we can and slow down when we need to.

What Makes Me Different I’ve worked in industry ((concealed information) done research, taught classes, and even built businesses — so I bring a mix of theory and real-world experience. I know what matters in school and what matters after graduation. Plus, I’ve got a strong academic background (3.96 GPA across two master’s degrees) and I speak both English and French fluently, so I can easily support a wide range of students.

Who I Work With: College & grad students in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business/Entrepreneurship, as well as middle & high-schoolers. Anyone learning programming (C, C++, Java, Matlab, Python, PLC), AI/ML, embedded systems, control systems, digital logic design, or even system-verilog programming. Students prepping for exams or building out class projects Curious minds who want to build a skill or switch into tech

Rates & Policies My standard rate is $115/hour for online sessions (and $125/hour for in person within 20 mile radius from zipcode 34234), which reflects my advanced academic background (dual Master’s degrees, PhD in progress), extensive teaching experience, and industry expertise.

That said, I understand that educational needs and budgets vary. For middle or high school subjects, I’m happy to offer a reduced rate—please feel free to reach out to discuss. I also offer discounted pricing for students who schedule multiple sessions or commit to long-term support.

Let’s talk about a plan that works for your goals and budget. Cancellation Policy: I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

The first missed session or late cancellation will be waived, but subsequent no-shows or cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full session fee.

All necessary teaching materials are included in the hourly rate, and I’m happy to meet online or help coordinate an in-person space if needed.
