About Kieran
During my time at St Ivo School Sixth Form, I volunteered as a teaching assistant for year eight students. This involved the teaching of critical mathematical concepts to a class of roughly thirty, which required planning and from time-to-time one-to-one session with struggling students. Teaching this range of abilities developed an awareness of how to act as a motivating and proactive role model, engaging and supporting students. This therefore consisted of the undertaking of different teaching strategies to accommodate to their needs.
