About Kimberley
I'm a French Canadian woman who has been travelling the world since 2016. I lived in New Zealand, Australia and met my other half during my travels. In 2021, we decided to move back to the UK and start our lives here. I've worked in many different industries and I realized how I like working for myself. So, this is why I am trying this new little project; Being a French Tutor. And, as a bonus, I will be meeting a lot of different and interesting people along the way!
I consider myself a hard working person, really passionate (must be my French roots) and a good listener.

From my past experiences, I think a good length of a lesson is about 1 hour/1 and a half hour. After that, the student loses interest and gets more distracted. There is no problem for me teaching someone who has zero experience with French language or someone who is way more advanced and wants to go more into details. I am comfortable with the grammar and all the exceptions there are.
In the past, I have myself took some English lessons with a private tutor and I have learnt a lot from her. In the last six months or so, I've been teaching 4 students, some are beginners and some are advanced. I like to ask students what they would like to learn and what are their goals as well. I think it's really important and it sets the tone of the lesson and for future ones.
