About Makala

I gave taught Special Education, Elementary Education in 4 states. I have helped students from various cultures in the classroom setting with sensitivity and patience. I enjoy creating a safe classroom environment that makes learners feel safe to succeed and fail.

About the lesson

Everyone learns differently and at different rates. I customize lessons to meet the needs of all, keep notes to monitor progress, and use small group to one-on-one settings to make sure gaps in learning are filled. I also believe that staying calm and having a good sense of humor can benefit students.
