About Adam

I am currently a Computer Science student at the University of Warwick and achieved an A* grade in Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Physics A-Levels as well as a grade 9 in those subjects at GCSE.

I have had experience working with students towards GCSE and A-Level over the last 4 years, including 1-1 tutoring for GCSE students over multiple subjects whilst I completed my A-Levels, and a teaching internship at a secondary school working with students from all years.

About the lesson

The first step of learning is to establish which areas the student needs to focus on, so I'll regularly work through assessments with the student to identify key topics. These topics will then be expanded by lessons, including opportunities to practice throughout. I strive to keep these lessons interactive and engaging, as well as adaptable to suit the student's wishes.

I understand that many students find mathematical subjects difficult, and often demoralising. Ensuring that students feel confident in what they know and excited to improve is at the heart of how I teach.
