About Michelle
I completed my degree in Mathematics/Teaching Option with a minor in Pure Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. I have been offering private tutoring sessions since 2010, and my favourite thing about tutoring is spreading my love and passion for math.

I believe in personalized learning; the biggest benefit of private lessons is that I can understand how students learn best, and customize my teaching to gear towards that.
Thus, a typical class will look different for different students: I may use more charts/graphs/illustrations for a more visually-inclined student, whereas a verbal learner may get more discussion time. I'll ask them to explain in their own words how or why their solution works.
I love learning, problem-solving, and math. My goal, as a teacher, is to pass down my passion for learning to my students!
