About Archana
Hi! I’m a biomedical engineering student with a passion for making learning fun and easy to understand. I know that some subjects—like maths, chemistry, and biology—can feel tricky, but I love breaking things down into simple steps and using real-life examples to help things click. Outside of studying, I’m a huge netball fan and have even been on a netball tour in Dubai! This has taught me teamwork, discipline, and perseverance—skills I bring into my teaching. I also love reading fiction novels, which helps me explain things in a creative and engaging way. Plus, as the older sister to two younger siblings, I’ve had plenty of practice helping with homework and making learning enjoyable. My tutoring sessions are fun, interactive, and encouraging, but I’ll also push you to put in the effort to improve. I’ll work with you at your pace to build confidence in your studies!

I tailor my teaching to each student, using real-world examples and interactive problem-solving to reinforce understanding. My lessons, typically 60 minutes long, include a structured approach: review, concept explanation, problem-solving, and a wrap-up session. As a biomedical engineering student, I have a strong background in maths, chemistry, and biology. My experience includes mentoring as a school prefect, volunteering in schools in Nepal, and working in customer service, which has strengthened my communication and teaching skills. I teach students aged 8-15 (though I can adjust my approach for younger students), focusing on making learning engaging, clear, and effective. For younger students or beginners, I keep lessons interactive with short breaks and engaging activities to maintain focus. My Qualifications include 10 GCSE grades (7-9) and A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths
