About Isobel
I am currently at university, studying planning and property development. I achieved 9 GCSEs with results ranging from A*-A. Following that, I went on to study maths, biology and design, where I was graded A-B.
In my spare time, I love to tutor and have been doing so for 3 years. I have tutored numerous students from the ages of 9 to 16. I also have 4 years experience in childcare.
My most improved student went from being at the bottom of her schools middle set (in year 5), to obtaining the 2nd highest SATS result in her year (in year 6).

I believe that for the student to achieve the best results possible, it is vital that we build a good relationship. As a result, the student will enjoy their lessons and obtain a larger amount of information.
Before the first paid lesson, I prefer to have a Zoom ‘intro-session’, to discuss possible areas of concern and to get to know each other a bit. I also like to find out the students prefered methods of teaching (e.g. video clips). Following this, I send out a test to see the gaps in knowledge and focus areas.
I personally then plan and create enjoyable, unique lessons, to ensure that the pupil will get as much satisfaction as they can during each session.
