Previously having taught kids at KS2 level for common entrance exams, I have given lessons in maths English and non-verbal reasoning as well as problem solving.

Worked examples are primary to teaching and would be completed step by step with breakdowns at each stage to show how to tackle question types.
As a very logical person breaking down problems step by step shows the path taken clearly and makes it easier to understand and repeat.
