About Thomas
Hi, I am Tom and I hope to become your maths tutor!
I prefer to work in a collaborative and supportive environment where a student can approach me with particular topics or questions they're struggling with, and then we can work through them. I can also go through a students maths curriculum and identify topics that may be challenging and go through that too.
My sessions will be non-judgemental, supportive and hopefully confidence boosting for the student. I hope to establish an environment where a student feels comfortable to talk through their academic concerns with me.
I have experience of working in a teaching environment as I have previously worked as a teaching assistant and have also tutored close family and friends.
I am a UCL Biochemical Engineering graduate and a current Medical student at the University of Leicester.
