About Brandon
As an experienced Maths teacher, who has completed 4 GCSEs, 2 AS/A-Levels and 2 15-credit modules at University, I have received top grades ranging from A/A*/9s and first class grades. My extensive exposure in Maths, combined with 8 years of tutoring experience makes me a very knowledgeable, adaptive and ingenious teacher. As a result, I have been able to improve students' results by a minimum of 2 grades in the space of 6 months. Below is a breakdown of my Maths qualifications, grades and in what year I sat those exams. Year 8 - GCSE grade A Year 9 - IGCSE grade A* Year 10 - (9-1) GCSE grade 9 Year 11 - Additional Maths grade A Year 12 - AS Further Maths grade A Year 13 - A Level Maths grade A* and Economics A Year 1 University - 1st in Maths for Economics Year 3 University - high 1st in Advanced Linear Algebra My experience involves teaching over 20 students, both tutored privately and working for a tuition company, MyTutor. I have taught both group and one-to-one lessons and currently have a 5* on MyTutor. One reason I particularly enjoy this business is the satisfaction of knowing I have contributed to a student reaching their full potential. I am known for my enthusiastic, passionate and patient approach as well as outstanding results.

For most of the lesson (35-40 minutes), I introduce a new topic and go through some basic questions and gradually introduce harder and more complex questions as the class progresses. During this time, I tend to work with the student to make sure the process, working and understanding is airtight before moving on to independent exam styled questions for the remainder of the lesson. Usually, the last 5 minutes of the lesson is dedicated to answering any questions about the topic, setting homework to consolidate understanding and deciding what next week's lesson will be based on.

Perfect! Brandon is an excellent tutor! My son was uninterested in maths at all and did not like maths. But due to his amazing and unique teaching techniques he transformed my son's attitude to maths and now his maths is amazing and he's gone from a 5 to a 8

Brandon tutors me in both maths and economics and is excellent at helping me understand tricky concepts and explains them thoroughly and patiently, highly recommend!
We hired Brandon to tutor my son a couple of months before he was due to sit his Maths A Level, so there was only time for a few sessions. My son had got a lower than expected mock result and was very worried but we have just received the A level exam results and he got an A*! We are very grateful to Brandon for his excellent tutoring. He is flexible, responds quickly to questions, has an in depth understanding of Maths and worked really well with my son. The lessons were productive and enjoyable and, needless to say, we couldn't be happier with the result. I would highly recommend Brandon as a tutor.
Brandon is a very thorough tutor. He tutored me a couple years ago around the time of my Maths exams and helped me substantially. A couple things that Brandon did which made his tutoring so good for me was coming up with abbreviations for formulas to help me remember them. As well as this Brandon would give me a couple questions to complete and would watch me complete them on my own without any support. This allowed me to feel more independent and capable when tackling harder questions. I definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a good tutor, he can cater for absolutely anyone!
Brandon is an amazing tutor - extremely knowledgable and can beak down the most difficult topics in the easiest way possible.
He has taught me both at GCSE and A Level results. Through his GCSE lessons, I have moved from a D grade to an A* in the span of one year! For A-Levels, I began at a C grade ad moved to an A*.
He makes sure to cater to every student and does not go too quickly. He sets regular homework and checks this. I recommend this tutor for anyone who is struggling with maths at any level, high school to A-Level. He has years of experience and is extremely patient.
