About Darcia
Hi, this is Darcia! I am currently a 5th year dental student who achieved 3A* in Maths, Biology and Chemistry A-Level. Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy and I really do believe that everyone has the potential to reach their goals academically.
During my GCSEs, I tutored students in YR7 and 8 who were struggling with maths and this is what sparked my interest in teaching others.
In my free time, I’m either on a run or cooking and hanging out with my friends.
I tutor Maths, Biology and Chemistry in preparation for A-Level, GCSE and SATS. In addition to this, if you ever need help or advice with interview tips and MMI examples, I’d be happy to help.

In the first initial lesson we will have a conversation about your troubled areas so we can focus on a plan on your success. This will allow me to to gather the resources for your lessons with sample questions.
From here, every lesson will consist of an introduction to a concept with examples to cover the theory. Once this has been established we can practice exam questions to fully solidify your understanding and transfer this is in your assessments.
My support is not facilitated just by lessons I also provide extra resources and practice questions as "homework", to consolidate your learning.
All lessons will take place via Google Meet
Lessons are typically 1hr
I am keen on taking on GCSE students of any ability throughout YR7-YR11 as well as A-Level Students studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry.
I also accommodate for younger children who need support for maths and sciences for SATS.
