About Maria

As a primary maths tutor, my approach to teaching is centered around making learning fun and exciting for my students. I believe that creating an enjoyable learning environment is crucial in motivating students to engage with the subject matter and take an active interest in their education.
My teaching techniques and methodology are highly personalized and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I begin by assessing their current level of understanding and identifying any gaps in their knowledge or areas where they require extra support. From there, I develop a customized lesson plan that includes a variety of interactive activities, games, and exercises designed to reinforce the concepts being taught.
Typically, my lessons are between 1-2 hours in length, depending on the needs of the student. During this time, we will work together on a range of topics including basic arithmetic, fractions, geometry, and more. I use a variety of teaching aids such as visual aids, hands-on activities, and multimedia resources to keep students engaged and motivated.
As a fellow graduate student, I have a strong background in mathematics and a wealth of experience working with young learners. I am also highly adaptable and able to adjust my teaching style to meet the needs of students of all ages and levels of ability. Additionally, I have a bubbly personality and am known for being kind, creative, and enthusiastic about learning. I pride myself on my ability to communicate effectively with my students and always strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
