About Charles
I am a recent graduate of the most prestigious English Literature & Creative Writing Undergraduate degree in the UK (University of East Anglia). I have been tutoring freelance since I was 18 years old and at that time was tutoring GCSE and AS mathematics. I subsequently taught maths and English to groups of young people with behavioural and learning difficulties at TRAX Motor Project (Oxford). During studying for my degree I taught maths and English at an academic afterschool club for ages 5-17 at FCL Learning (Norwich).

My teaching methodology is based on first and foremost building a rapport with the student so they are never afraid to ask questions. If my students are struggling, I will first encourage them to see if they can think through the problem themselves. If they are still struggling, I will go step-by-step through their work with them before having them to repeat similar steps by themselves.
