About Maya
I am a tefl tutor and originally a humanities student from London. I have studied English language and literature for over 4 years. I have also delved into philosophy and write a weekly blog for DF organisation. I am seeking students who are eager to learn and want to progress with their English skills. I am a people person and pride myself on making communication easy-flowing, in order to achieve the best results. I have dual nationality, English and Croatian.
I follow the communicative language teaching method as well as the direct method depending on the what the student requires.

I use the communicative language teaching method alongside the direct method and structure my classes based on the student’s specific needs/goals. I provide stimulating exercises and challenges after each class as well as regular feedback. I believe that feedback is the staple of constructive lessons and find that this keeps students productively engaged.
