About Brian
I have over 25 years of experience in providing private tuition and I believe that anyone can learn and understand Maths, all it takes is a good tutor and lots of patience.
For several years I taught students some of whom were partially sighted and others were totally blind. Explaining mathematical concepts to someone who has never had sight using tactile methods requires a lot of time and patience but is very rewarding once the concept is grasped.
I am partially sighted myself so I cannot drive and my current students travel to me for lessons. I can provide references and I have a current enhanced DBS certificate.
Throughout my life I have also continued to study to learn new skills and keep my knowledge fresh and up-to-date. In October 2017 I started two Open University course at third level, MT 365 Graphs, Networks and Design and TM 355 Communications Technology.
