About Taylor
I am a current student at Penn State and graduated 5th in my class with a 4.0 GPA. I have never received below an A in any of my math subjects from 7-12th grade. I have experience in tutoring 7-8th grade math in the past but am perfectly capable of tutoring up to precalculus. My previous students developed a newfound confidence in their math skills and saw great improvement in their grades.

Math is without a doubt one of the most difficult classes a student can take in middle/high school. My goal is to provide each student with a plan to best help their needs and get them to be successful in their area. I typically start my lessons by walking through the subject and practice problems with the student. Once I see they are understanding the material, I have them try a few on their own, helping when I am needed. I understand that math can be quite frustrating so I aim to create a positive environment that encourages students to try their best and learn from their mistakes. I have previous tutoring experience with middle school level math but am perfectly capable of teaching subjects from algebra to precalculus.
