About Lincoln
I enjoy helping people, and have worked as a professional tutor for several years. In Hawaii I have taught 2nd grade, 6th grade, 7-8th grade, and high school Math. In Wisconsin, I helped people earn their GEDs and taught at a community college.
I have also worked as a Special Education teacher. Taken together, my experience has convinced me that anyone can learn math. The teaching approach used and individual attention makes a huge difference!

My teaching method is focused on building understanding, over memorization. Because when you know why something is, you will remember it better or even be able to figure it out if you forget!
Typically we will work through concepts together. I learn what you know and how you conceptualize math, so that I can personalize our time together. What sets me apart as a teacher is my flexibility to adapt to where the student is at.
I can tutor most any math, and also science such as biology or chemistry.
