About Hannah
GCSEs and A Levels are among the most challenging academic courses for students, especially those who aren’t naturally academic. I understand this deeply — at GCSE, I went from getting grade 3–6s to achieving grade 8/9s within months, including jumping from a grade 3 to a grade 9 in GCSE Physics. I achieved this through tailored revision strategies, consistency, and the right mindset — all of which I now love to share with my students. Having experienced academic struggle myself, I know how frustrating it is to work hard and still seem to fall short. This is why I’m so passionate about helping students not only improve their grades, but also build confidence in their ability to succeed — which I know is there! I truly believe every student is capable of A/A* grades with the right support. I have worked with many students, bringing patience, structure, and proven techniques to help them boost their grades and enhance their ability. I'm committed to helping you out of feeling "stuck" and onto your path to success.

I understand how overwhelming GCSEs and A-Levels can feel. As someone who’s been through it myself, I aim to offer more than just academic support; to help students in their understanding of the subject while also helping them develop a comprehensive study approach and revision strategies that are practical and motivating – especially for those feeling stuck or unsure how to move forward. This includes exam and specification focused study, to really help students boost their grades. Lessons would typically range from 30 mins to an hour, depending on the student's needs. I have A*s in my GCSE subjects (including in all of Sciences, Maths and English) and predicted A*AA at A level for subjects Psychology, Chemistry and Biology respectively - which have furthered my understanding of science subjects. Furthermore, I have two years' experience tutoring GCSE Sciences and English, as well as one year's experience tutoring AS Level Psychology and Biology. Therefore, lessons are tailored towards those seeking help for GCSE Sciences and English; and A Level Biology and Psychology.
