About Amanda
I recently completed a 120-hour TEFL (TESOL) Masterclass through One Education based in the UK.
I have previously taught physical education (P.E) in at primary school level for one and a half years and also did sports specific coaching on a one on one basis after that.
I am very passionate about helping younger children learn and grow in the English language.

My teaching methodology would ideally be Communicative Language Teaching.
This way of teaching emphasizes all the four skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing, but listening and speaking.
However there are so many different methodologies and strategies that go into becoming a good teacher and one needs to be flexiable.
It is important for me as the teacher to take the time to know my students because I care.
When I know the stories behind each student, I am able to design lessons that are more fun, more meaningful, and more effective because they were designed with my student's best interests in mind.
