Suppose we want to know the are of anequilateral triangle , we can write it as A=1/2 ×(base× height)= 1/2 × (a/2 ×a Sin 60°) ,since all sides are equal , all angles will be equal . Sum of all angles is 180° , therefore every angle will be 60°.
