About Trayvon

I am a dedicated nursing student with a passion for helping others and fostering a positive learning environment. I enjoy tutoring because it not only allows me to support students but also helps me reinforce and retain the knowledge I’ve learned myself. I believe in supporting my students with patience, clarity, and encouragement to help them build confidence in math, science, and algebra. My teaching approach is tailored to each learner’s needs, focusing on simplifying complex concepts and promoting understanding. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, paddle boarding, and reading. I also love spending time with my dog! With my caring attitude and commitment to professionalism, I aim to make each session productive and confidence-boosting for my students.

About the lesson

As a nursing student, I create a supportive, patient learning environment tailored to each student’s needs.

I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable explanations and encouraging questions.

Typical lessons include reviewing previous material, setting goals, explaining new concepts with examples, and solving practice problems.

What sets me apart is my caring approach and ability to communicate clearly, helping students build confidence.

My lessons are ideal for middle, high school, and undergrad college students in math, science, and algebra, especially those needing extra support or exam prep.

Super helpful tutor! I'm terrible at algebra, but he explains everything so clearly and never makes you feel dumb for asking questions. Really patient and encouraging. My grades are finally going up. thank you!
