About Nyla
I achieved top GCSE grades out of 300 students (top 10%), currently studying Biology, Chemistry, Spanish A-level and Extended Project Qualification as well as Duke of Edinburgh Award and more.I attended an institution with a pass rate of under 30% yet achieved predominantly As across 9 GCSEs subjects. One of my first students received an award for quick progress within a few months. Also received an Acknowledgment of Bravery 2019.

The first lesson will involve a few tests to see where a student is at and to identify their strengths and the areas in which they need to improve on. The second lesson will involve a put together routinised activities targeting weaker subjects and building on stronger topics, if this is successful this will be a common structure of lessons, unless any changes are necessary for the comfort of the student. For example my 11 year old student would begin with a starter exercise on a topic assessing basic knowledge which links the topic together. While this is marked, they will read through a brief overview of the topic, then I will explain and teach the student the basic interlinking knowledge if they got any wrong and ask questions. Then I teach content through various methods and finish with a sheet of notes and questions to take for homework. Alongside the process I analyse the learning style of a student and what parents and students can do if they ever cannot attend a lesson or general studies which will aid their knowledge.
