About Paolo

I am a university student in my last year of a BA in Economics and Politics in London. I was born and grew up in Vienna, Austria which is why German is my mother tongue. My lessons can be adapted for any proficiency level, from beginner's to university level. I have been tutoring three students who did German at their A-levels for the past two years, helping them achieve A and A* results. I am also well versed in German/Austrian/Swiss literature and would be able to provide or help students with homework regarding this.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on engaging the students in a conversation in the language we are studying. Of course, I will adapt my vocabulary according to the student's level of proficiency. Mostly, the classes are conducted in a way that engages the students and encourages them to learn about the culture behind the language. Consequently, reviews of books or movies in German can become part of the exercises. These methods can be adapted according to the needs and goals of each student.
