About Dominic
I am currently a student at the University of Newcastle, studying the Bachelor of Secondary Education (Mathematics major), and I am very passionate about teaching. I am in my third year of my degree, and soon to complete my second placement before my internship next year. My first placement gave me confidence and inspiration to become a teacher of the future. Mathematics is my strong point, I have a passion in showing students that anyone is capable of Maths. Tutoring allows me to share my knowledge and inspire students to become actively engaged in the course content.

My pedagogy for teaching is one that is entirely based on the student. Each student has a different way of learning, and my degree has taught me to be flexible according to the student. Lessons will planned and based on the content the student requires help with the most. The typical length of a lesson will be 1 hour. My experience with teaching involves a four week placement of teaching mathematics, which gave me vital experience in teaching students. Lessons can be provided for all students in High School (7 - 12), and all levels of mathematics up to HSC Extension 2.
