About Nathan
I am a patient and analytical tutor with a strong interest in mathematics and problem solving. I understand firsthand that math can sometimes feel frustrating or overwhelming, especially when there are gaps in foundational understanding. Because of this, I focus on helping students identify and strengthen the concepts they may have missed so they can approach their coursework with greater confidence.
My teaching style is supportive, step-by-step, and adaptable to each student’s learning needs. I aim to help students not only solve problems, but also understand the reasoning behind them so they can become more independent and confident learners over time.

Having struggled with math myself, I understand both the cognitive and emotional challenges that can come with learning the subject.
My goal with students is to identify weak points in their mathematical foundation and address those knowledge gaps so they can confidently approach their current coursework.
I believe that success in math is frequently the product of making mistakes and learning from them, and my supportive and low pressure approach reflects that approach.
