About Timothy
Do you have any classmates who never paid attention in class and yet managed to get 100s?
Do you ever wonder what's going on inside their minds?
I was one of these kids as I went through education and I've finally learned to articulate my thought processes. I can teach you how to effortlessly impress your math teacher.
I've medalled in many of my Waterloo competitions. I've written math content for Brilliant.org and tutored students who have gone on to win scholarships at Waterloo and UofT.
I did this without too much effort because of the way I approach problems. I can teach YOU to approach problems the same way. I love sharing insights, tips, tricks, and "cheats" to doing math.

I focus on helping you visualize concepts so that you can understand them fundamentally.
My lessons are always individualized. I created the lesson plan based on last week's performance and interest
My typical lesson structure is focused on keeping you at the edge of your abilities. I don't like giving away answers but will give hint after hints. I've found this to be far more rewarding and fun.
My lessons can cover from grade 1 to University Math. I'm also strong in preparing you for math contests such as the Waterloo contests.
