About Mary
I am a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi, which I received in 2022. I am currently ASHA certified and have experience working in both medical and public school settings. For the past four years, I have worked with students in kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting a wide range of communication and academic language skills.
My areas of experience include language comprehension, articulation, reading and literacy, vocabulary, figurative language, and other language-based skills. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to creating individualized lessons based on each student’s strengths, needs, and learning style.
I enjoy helping students build both their skills and confidence, and I am comfortable working with elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as college students and adults.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I help students strengthen the language skills they need to be successful in school and everyday communication. My lessons focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary, figurative language, making inferences, and understanding complex language. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs and use engaging, practical activities to build confidence and independence. My goal is to make learning feel manageable while helping students develop skills they can use across subjects and in everyday life.
