About Sofia
Bonjour / Guten Tag!
I am about to enter my 4th year of secondary school teaching in Bedford. I
currently teach French and German across all key stages. I have a full set of GCSE's, A Levels and an undergraduate degree in French and German, as well as my Post-Graduate Certificate of Education with Qualified Teacher Status.
Within the school I work, I am also the KS3 Co-ordinator for the languages department, and have got a lot of experience with every single key stage as I teach every year group from year 7 all the way through to year 13. As you can see, I am qualified and more than happy to tutor any age!
My tutoring style is relaxed but thorough. Some pupils can feel intimidated speaking a foreign language and worry about making mistakes, so my aim first and foremost is to build a solit relationship to help my pupils relax and gain confidence in their skills. I aim to work on vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in a calm, fun and relaxed environment. Please feel free to reach out to me!
