About Tharani
My name is Tharani and I’m a second year medical student and have experience tutoring Primary, KS3, GCSE and A-level students in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
I like to think that I am approachable and I am happy to go over any questions the students may bring in.
I am really enjoying studying my course at university and it is exciting to get the opportunity to use the knowledge that I learnt during my school years to the practical elements of my course. This course has highlighted my love of the biological sciences to me and has shown me how what I learnt at school is helping me with my future.

Having recently done these exams myself, I am familiar with the content the students are studying and am aware of what people tend to struggle with in these subjects which will help when teaching certain topics as I’ll be more aware of which areas need more focus and how to approach the particularly challenging aspects of the course.
I like to talk to the students about which topics they would like to go over or need practice with first and then follow up with teaching alongside exam style questions so students can better understand the context of what they are learning.
