About Kimberly
A former Middle School Music & Arts Teacher & High School Arts Teacher, my career was transformed when I started covering Math classes for an ailing co-worker who would not be returning that school year. At the time, I was not a math genius by any means, and immediately let the students know that I would do all that I could to help them pass their state proficiency tests (and subsequent SAT's and ACT's). This meant that in addition to teaching, I had to learn! I learned with my students, and I devised a way to disseminate what I'd learned in a more efficient and memorable way. What I learned not only helped those students, but gained the notice of the staff and school board who then appointed me to a Math Teacher since that year.
