About Lavon
I am passionate about math and teaching, and have studied many math concepts in different ways. I also like to code, and I explore intersections between computer science and computational methods. I have tutored in SAT math for almost a year, and in non-test math for almost 2 years.

For my SAT students, my approach is to first have them take a practice exam in math, and access their weaknesses. Subsequent lessons and practice sessions will hammer in weak topics to make the student a master of what they once got incorrect.

He was very good tutor who gives detailed responses and can tailor his teaching to your needs. He throughly explained my assignment to me and the concepts behind it.
Working with Lavon in Sykes Mathematics has been so helpful. Lavon is extremely patient and is really skilled in explaining mathematical processes. If one explanation isn't enough, he always goes the extra step to explain differently until you have a thorough understanding. Lavon is a tutor who has a passion for math, which represents itself in the amount of work and effort he puts into helping. I 110% recommend Skyes Mathematics tutoring to anyone who struggles with math. I've come out feeling much more confident in my math skills, all thanks to Lavon! I 110% recomend Sykes Mathematics tutoring to anyone who struggles with math.
I liked that he was really patient in teaching me the material and took the time to understand what I was having trouble with
He will break everything down and help you with every step, if you need help visualizing the problem he will definitely draw it out to you, I could say he is better than some teachers at school.
