I have known mr. Ramaiya Naidu for many years as a colleague. He worked as a Head of department for Mathematics at Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate Senior School. The Department consisted of several staff members
Ramaiya always supported and encouraged staff to excel in their teaching. He expected good academic outcomes and always insisted that staff should do more in service training to up-skill and improve.
He was a very good teacher who taught the higher level classes. He knows NCEA and could support staff with the interpretation of standards.
