About Serena
I recently graduated from high school a semester early as I had enough credits to do so. I am actively writing a thesis paper within the field of psychology and am getting my International Skills Diploma. I have been in French 1, French 2, French 3, French 4, and French 5 classes. I’ve been learning the language for the past 7 years and am confident in my abilities to teach the language. I am 17, so I understand the fear of learning something new, but I assure you with my teaching style, learning will be something you look forward to every day!

I love visual learning, so I would implement that into my lesson plans. My teaching is more for those new to french and eager to get a basic introduction to the language! Practice is perfect which is why each lesson, I repeat what we did the lessons before and then learn something new. A typical lesson plan includes review, questions, learning something new such as vocabulary, practice speaking and pronunciation, and more questions. I have a laid back approach, because I feel the best learning is done under relaxed atmospheres. Learning is a journey we go through everyday, I’m excited to help you with French!
