About Caleb
I am a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of Texas.
I have taught over 40 students in my four year tenure at UT. The majority of those students were in engineering, but I also teach math and physics to non-technical majors.
My most recent student raised her mathematics exam grade from a 66 to a 92 after just one lesson.

I give lessons to college and high-school students. I am happy to work with students that just need a little extra help as well as top achievers who wish to broaden their understanding of a topic.
I have been bored myself by professors who drone on through slideshows that haven't changed in over 10 years. Education should be an immersive, multifaceted experience. To that end, I incorporate visual, auditory, real-world, and kinesthetic/hands-on techniques when teaching any subject.
I believe the number of ways a student accesses a subject is directly correlated with their success. Very few of us can simply "drill down," using the same techniques to learn the same material, and have a positive learning experience
My ideal student is one who can interrupt me and say "I don't get it." I'm not intimidating, as I'm probably only a few years older than you are. Treat me as a peer and we'll get along just fine.
