About Elizabeth
I am a DBS checked, qualified teacher. I have taught for several years teaching both resists and tutoring students for their exams. I have taught both individuals and groups, I use regular assessment to track progress and help students practice key exam skills. I use this regular practice to help students combat exam stress and fears, helping students to reach their potential. I have a degree in Biomedical engineering, a PGCE and am currently completing a Masters degree in Medicinal chemistry.

I favour a democratic teaching style which allows students to have a say in the method of their lessons. I like to use a journalling aspect to lessons to encourage a growth mindset in students by having them track and record their own progress as well as make their own notes in a manner that is most understandable to themselves. I use context in all my lessons and link this to areas of interest to my learners, this makes lessons more engaging and memorable.
