I am a qualified teacher of Mathematics with 4.5 years of classroom teaching experience. I have tutored professional for 8 years and have at least 500 hours of tuition under my belt.
Following my time in the classroom I worked as Curriculum and Development officer at The Brilliant Club, a university access charity. Among my many responsibilities was designing and facilitating training for maths and physics teachers between their first and third year in the classroom.
I am currently at Harvard University doing a masters in education, specifically looking at how the impact teacher training and development can be effectively measured.
My particular strengths in teaching are curriculum design, particularly the application of cognitive science to aid long-term retention through the use of deliberate and varied practice, interleaving and the use of diagnostic multiple choice questions.
