About Thato
I am a simple guy who just finds joy in teaching or tutoring. I love numbers a lot hence I specialise in teaching mathematics and physical science. I started teaching when I was in High school, around grade 11. That is when I realized that I have a passion for teaching. From there, I came to Wits to study Actuarial Science, but I still had passion for teaching hence I still teach to date. I am professional and I guarantee understanding. It just gives me joy to able to give back and invest in the future through imparting knowledge.

I teach to provide understanding more than anything else, so I teach in a way that allows the student to fully grasp the content at hand. For example, for each topic I teach, I begin at the basics so that it is easier for the student to understand the work going forward. I create my own notes which are meant to make understanding for the students easier. In between the lessons I give small exercises to consolidate the comprehension and to check where they may be problems. After identifying areas of concern, I work on those extensively until the topic is fully understood with all its nuances.
