About Parveena

I'm Parveena R, a passionate educator based in Dubai, UAE, with over 10 years of experience as an online tutor and classroom teacher. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering from Anna University, I specialize in teaching Math and Science (along with Computer Science and Social Studies) for grades 1–10 in CBSE, ICSE, and British Curricula. My journey began as a Math & Science Teacher at Meenakshi Ramasamy Vidyalaya, where I honed my skills in delivering concept-focused lessons, and now as a self-employed online tutor, I continue to help students across diverse syllabi. I teach because I believe in unlocking every child's potential through clear, conceptual understanding rather than rote learning. Nothing motivates me more than seeing students gain confidence, improve their grades, and develop a genuine love for subjects like Math and Science. With personalized plans, interactive methods, and a focus on real-world applications, I'm committed to making learning engaging and effective for your child. Let's work together to achieve academic success!

About the lesson

My Lessons and Teaching Style:
I design engaging, student-centered lessons that focus on building a strong conceptual understanding in Math and Science. Using the British Curriculum (IGCSE and A-Levels) and CBSE frameworks, I break down complex topics like algebra, calculus, physics, chemistry, and biology into simple, relatable steps with real-world examples.
My interactive teaching style incorporates:
Customized lesson plans based on the student's pace, strengths, and weaknesses – no one-size-fits-all!
Regular assessments and feedback to track progress, including practice quizzes and past exam papers.
Encouraging critical thinking through problem-solving discussions, rather than rote learning.
