About Zafir
I'm a Mathematics and Computer Science graduate from the University of Toronto. I've had experience working as a developer for web applications, governing API development at an enterprise level and have been a consultant for the Cybersecurity Innovation team at CIBC.
I've tutored 70+ students and have been an instructor for mathematics and programming courses. More than anything, I have a genuine passion for teaching and mentorship!

I like to put myself in my students' shoes and break down concepts into small chunks easy to interpret.
One principle I love to emphasize is all big problems are just an accumulation of small ones. Take it step by step and everything can become simple.
Classes can take place physically or digitally. Digital classes will involve a digital whiteboard (which I will provide) and students can easily attempt to solve the problems I'll give on it. This also gives a lot more flexibility to the students. The most important thing is having the student engaged and enjoying themselves. I like to keep things entertaining!
I've also been certified as a Mathnasium Instructor and have also adopted their unique teaching methodology to my classes. Can teach middle school to university level math and computer science topics.
