About Emily
Hi, my name is Emily! I graduated from Mercer University in May 2026 with a Bachelor’s degree in Global Health Studies and minors in Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry. I am currently taking a gap year before pursuing graduate school for a master's degree in Physician Assistant studies. I have a love for learning and hope to inspire the same love in others by helping them to be confident in their own knowledge and skills.

- I like to explain concepts to students and walk them through a practice problem if applicable. Then I ask what further questions they have and answer these. Finally, I ask them to explain the concept back to me or walk me through a practice problem so I can see what still needs further explanation.
- I graduated from college in May 2026 so I understand what it is like to be a student.
- I have experience as a Human Anatomy & Physiology teaching assistant for 3 years, an elementary school tutor for one year, and a college-level biology and chemistry tutor for 6 months.
-My experience is mainly in high school and college level biology and chemistry classes, but I have experience with all ages.
