About Samuel
I’m a Physics PhD student at Heriot-Watt University with a Master’s degree in Quantum Information and Physics, and a Physics degree from Sorbonne University in Paris. I’ve been teaching for over 6 years, supporting students in maths, physics, STEM subjects, and even music, from middle school to early university. I’m open to all learners, whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up on class material, or exploring advanced topics like quantum physics. My teaching style is relaxed and approachable, but I’m just as happy to provide structured lessons with homework and clear goals if that suits you better. I offer both online and in-person lessons, with in-person sessions available around Morningside, Bruntsfield, Slateford, Polwarth, and Merchiston (or close areas). I'm committed to helping students feel confident, motivated, and supported in their learning.

I hold a Master’s degree in Quantum Information and Physics, as well as a Physics degree from Sorbonne University in Paris, and I use this background to explain complex ideas in a clear, accessible way. Each session is adapted to your level, whether you’re strengthening school fundamentals, working through university courses, or exploring advanced topics like quantum physics. I can help with homework, exam preparation, problem-solving techniques, and understanding core concepts through step-by-step guidance. My approach is relaxed and supportive, but I can provide structured plans and weekly exercises if you prefer a more organised learning style. We can schedule 1–2 hours per week, online or in person, with personalised feedback and strategies to help you progress efficiently.
