About Maja
I am currently a PhD student at King's College London in biomedicine, and have two 1st class degrees from Imperial College London - BSc Biochemistry and MSc Neuroscience. Before that, I graduated with 43 points in the IB and 777 in my HL subjects. I am passionate about scientific research and am building a career in biotech - my research currently focuses on growing mini eyes from stem cells to treat patients who are going blind.
Outside of work, I love learning new languages, hiking and cooking new recipes!

I have been teaching Biology and Chemistry since I started my Undergraduate degree over 7 years ago, and have since then taught students individually and in group teaching sessions. I tailor my lessons to individual student needs, focusing on typical exam questions, structuring thinking and truly understanding concepts. My lessons are typically an hour, but can adapt based on the timing needs of the student!
I can teach Biology SL/HL or Chemistry SL/HL for the IB Diploma, or undergraduate level courses.
