About Don
I earned a BSc. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Cleveland State University and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from The University of Southern California and my PhD advisor was a Nobel Prize winning Chemist. My Post-Doctoral advisor at UCLA was also a Nobel laureate in Chemistry. I began tutoring Chemistry in 1981. As a professional University Lecturer/Professor, I have taught over 150 classes and given grades to over 20,000 students.

Organic Chemistry courses begin with basic chemical principles and slowly proceeds through the foundations of organic chemistry. Everything builds upon what was previously taught, like a snowball rolling down a snowy hill. Unlike many organic teachers, I constantly remind the students of the basics as I explain new ideas.
