Hello! My name is Kewan, and I am a dedicated educator, RTI interventionist, and math tutor with more than eight years of experience helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of all ability levels, providing individualized instruction that strengthens foundational skills while preparing students for long-term success. I understand that every student learns differently, so I create a supportive, encouraging environment where questions are welcomed, mistakes become learning opportunities, and progress is celebrated.

As a dedicated classroom teacher, RTI interventionist, and tutor with over eight years of experience in education, I believe every student can succeed in math with the right support and encouragement. My teaching approach is student-centered, engaging, and personalized to each learner's needs, learning style, and pace. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by an assessment of the student's current understanding. From there, I introduce new concepts through clear instruction, interactive examples, and hands-on practice before ending with independent application and a review of key skills. I continuously adjust my lessons based on each student's progress, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. What sets me apart is my experience as both a classroom educator and academic intervention specialist, allowing me to identify learning gaps and create targeted strategies that lead to lasting improvement. My lessons are designed for students in elementary math, Algebra I, Algebra II, and College Algebra, whether they need homework support, test preparation, remediation, or enrichment to reach the next level.
