About Jake
I am going into my 3rd year as a Mechanical Engineering student, thus fully aware of the benefits of establishing a firm and early understanding of mathematics. While at school I helped friends that struggled in this area and enabled them to pass their GCSE's. This considered I haven't provided private tuition sessions on a formal basis before; however, after briefly attending a tutor myself I can appreciate and understand the needs of current students first hand.

I am aware that shockingly not everyone shares the love for maths quite like myself, therefore, by establishing the specific learning methods of each individual and caterring to their needs best possible will enable optimum results from myself teaching and the student come their exams.
Upon finding a problem area, I will slowly go through the theory to it, working in examples as often as possible, until progressing onto past papers.
To uphold motivation and moral a sense of accomplishment must be obtained; thus achievable goals will be set and completed throughout the sessions.
