Hello, I am Callum. I am an Oxford student and I am currently spending a year abroad in Marseille as an English language assistant where I am working at three colleges. I have been teaching in English and French for 4 years.

I base my lessons on grammar and comprehension as I think they are the most important things. Without having the basics, it's hard to have confidence when trying to speak out loud. I think it is helpful to work on exercises together to emphasise that the student should be able to explain their response every step of the way. Thanks to working in colleges, I know the level of each year well and I can therefore personalise the course for each student. I teach middle school and high school students.
