About David
I grew up in the valleys of South Wales, went to Oxford University at eighteen. I spent five years running pubs, before doing my teacher training in Leeds University. I have since taught in both private and state schools, where I have been a Head of Science,a Head of Chemistry, Head of Geography, a Head of KS4.

I try to focus my lessons on what the tutee wants to go through, starting with the basics to ensure a good understanding. Then building up with examples and questions, finishing exam questions and explaining the techniques to gain full marks. Most importantly I try to allow time for the tutee to not only ask questions, but to build up resilience and confidence.
